I must accept the fact that author given lots of information and idea about the Raja Raja Cholan as possible into a book. One couldn't give you everything in single book. To get brief knowledge about the kingdom you need lot more books to refer since the history behind and evacuation results were vast. I would suggest this book for the people who wish to get an idea about the Raja Raja Cholan. This books talks lot about how people during Chola emperor lived and the life style. Book cover is the one of Raja Raja Cholan painting from Tanjor Big Temple. Kannan wrote this book with the base of lots of research & evacuation took place in Tanjore and other part of south India. So that's what attract the readers with its title.
